Collection: Levi's

Levi Strauss, a Bavarian immigrant, founded Levi's in 1853 in San Francisco during the California Gold Rush. Originally, Levi's was a dry goods business selling clothing, fabrics, and other goods to miners and settlers. In 1873, Levi Strauss partnered with Jacob Davis, a tailor, to create the first blue jeans. They patented the design for riveted denim pants, which marked the birth of the Levi's jeans.

Levi's jeans gained popularity among miners, cowboys, and workers due to their durability and practicality. As the company grew, it expanded its product line to include various denim garments, such as overalls and jackets. Levi's jeans became ingrained in American culture, symbolizing freedom, individuality, and the American spirit. They were worn by generations of Americans, from cowboys in the Old West to rebels in the counterculture movements of the 1960s and 1970s. The Levi's 501 jeans became a cultural phenomenon.

Levi's red tab, leather patch, and arcuate stitching on the back pockets of its jeans are instantly recognizable worldwide.
